Blessed with one of Ireland’s most beautiful locations, on the shores of Lough Eske, this hotel was first opened by the Gysling family in the late 1980s, with chalet-style buildings linked by covered walkways and pergolas creating a distinctly alpine atmosphere reminiscent of their native Switzerland - a style that suited the site well, with the open low-level design allowing views of the lough and mountains from most areas of the hotel.

The architecture blends perfectly with the magnificent surroundings, providing luxurious accommodation and every modern convenience as well as plenty of fresh air and breathtaking scenery. Peaceful, airy bedrooms are elegantly decorated with pure relaxation in mind. French doors open out onto rolling lawns and pretty gardens that stretch all the way to the shores of the loch. Some rooms have four-poster beds.
